A UNIQUE CONSIGNMENT AND EVENT RENTAL BUSINESS PROVIDING UPSCALE DECOR AND ACCESSORIES AT AFFORDABLE PRICES!

 

"The Bridal Exchange" was created by  me,Trish Layton out of an initial concept of "what do Bride's and others do with what is left after their wedding/event?  A boutique where the Bride- to- be can go and find designer gowns at a fraction of the retail cost, allowing them to capitalize on their budget and find everything else to complete their special day was needed in a big way!

Formerly of "Petals Florist & Gifts", in the Westport area, I took a break from the wedding industry to raise my young family. My love of weddings kept my foot in the door with many vendors who share my love for the industry. Always designing and creating exciting events is my specialty!

"I have always been a creative person and being a florist and event coordinator gave me the outlet I needed, but I always wanted to do more in the industry I love"

So with a very short shoestring budget, I opened the doors to The Bridal Exchange this summer, and so far things are going great!  We will be accepting new and gently worn Bridal gowns, formals, Mother's dresses, Black tie attire, and childrens' clothing, accessories, invitations, event decor such as chair cover rentals, table linens, florals etc.

The goal and desire of The Bridal Exchange is to be able to provide a Platinum wedding on a sterling budget! Can it be done?  Absolutely, and has been many times over. A savvy Bride knows a good deal when she sees one, but can also see the value in putting the $ savings back into her wedding with other goods and services!
